I work as a Web Developer & Designer for individual clients, delivering high-performance, visually stunning custom websites. I ensure my clients receive exactly what they envision by conducting live demos and refining the product through multiple iterations.
I wanted to create a simple modern looking brand. My client provided me with the various services he was planning to offer . However, he did not have any limitations on design so I decided to start brainstorming possible design ideas on paper. I wanted to get my ideas out first, then iterate after.
My client had wanted to see what these wireframes would look like in high-fidelity, so I moved on to high-fidelity prototypes. I went in three directions in terms of design, each one offering a differing solution. After conducting a live demo, my client favored the third design that featured the brand banners in the hero section. He said he wanted more brands with more color to make the graphic pop a little more. He also wanted to change the layout of the service sections. He like the white background with the brand colors as the font color.
I performed some usability tests to make sure the final prototype was user-friendly. I performed 5 interviews with potential customers and they all presented positive engagement. The website was easy to navigate, the first image was great, animations were smooth and fun, color choices were great. One user mentioned that "they would definitely check out the rest of the site if they needed their services from the professional look of the website". After getting the final prototype approved, I moved on to coding the website, since the website was highly custom, I decided to code the website from scratch with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
The next steps would be designing each sub-page and mapping out how the website should flow. The landing page is just the beginning for an all-sneakers business.
My client wanted a simple and easily navigable website that emphasized Shatz Capital's credibility within the field. To meet his needs, I created prototypes that included numbers, grids, and images that centered around the experience Shatz had in the industry. I showed these prototypes and got them approved by Shatz himself. He liked the layout of most of the text and the grids. He wanted to change how some of the content was layed out, but liked how easily readable the site was. He instructed me to proceed with the code of the website. He did not want require usability testing as he approved of the site and wanted the product shipped ASAP.
